Accept a shipment at a later time (Customer)
Perform this task if you do not want to accept a shipment immediately after creating it. The shipment is left in Pending status.
- Create a shipment or shipment template (Customer).
- After entering shipment information in the Shipment Entry module, the Shipment Summary screen is displayed.
- Click Cancel Shipment. A prompt asks whether you want to leave the shipment in incomplete status.
- Click Yes. A message confirms the deletion.
- To continue without deleting the shipment, click No. The shipment is created but remains in Pending status. It is not upgraded to Processing status until you accept the shipment. You can find the shipment in the List of Shipments by searching for shipments in Pending status.
Note: Shipments in Pending status are ineligible for load build, optimization, routing and manifest processing.
