Add an item to a container (Carrier/Customer)

Your ability to add items to a container depends on your authority level and the status of the corresponding shipment.

Note: You can only access screens relating to items if the Item Level Details feature is enabled.

  1. Display the list of shipment details (Carrier) or Display the list of shipment details(Customer).
  2. Select the container whose items you want to work with.
  3. Click Items. The List of Items for your selected container is displayed.
  4. Click New. The Item Entry screen is displayed.
  5. Enter the required information
  6. When you are done:
    • Click Submit/Finish to save the item information. The List of Items is displayed.
    • Click Submit/Continue to save the item information. The Create Item screen is redisplayed, ready to accept another item for the same container.
    • Click Finish to return to the List of Items. The item is not created.
