Global Settings - Application Configuration Settings fields

Configuration Variable ID: The ID for this configuration variable.
Description: The description of this configuration variable.
Value: The value for this configuration variable.
System Provided: Indicates whether this configuration variable is system provided
Encrypted: Indicates whether the value is encrypted. When selected, the value will be encrypted and masked for display.

Note: If the value was previously encrypted, deselecting the Encrypted check box will not decrypt the value.

Data Type: The data type of the configuration variable that is used to validate the value provided in the Value field. When blank, there will be no validation on the Value field.
Default Value: The default value for this configuration variable.
Minimum Value: The minimum value allowed for the field; only applicable to application configuration settings of Number or Currency Amount data types.
Maximum Value: The maximum value allowed for the field; only applicable to application configuration settings of Number or Currency Amount data types.
Category: The category of the configuration variable. This field is used to group related configuration variables for display.
