Planning/Warehouse status

The Planning/Warehouse status along with the existing Load Planning Status, communicates an individual pick stop’s ability to accept composition changes based on pre-loading activities at a pickup location (typically Warehouse). Planning/Warehouse Status indicates whether Optimization (TP) can add or remove shipments from the stop.

Stop Planning/Warehouse Status supports the following values:

  • Default: Directs TP to apply the behavior associated with the current Load Planning Status. This is the default value applied on every new stop.
  • Picked/Waved: Provides TM Users visibility that a pickup shipping location (generally a warehouse) has done its Wave/Allocation of Shipments; directs TP to not remove Shipments on this stop. Shipments may be added so long as Load Planning Status is not Locked.
  • Locked/Staged: Provides TM User visibility that a pickup shipping location has Locked/Staged the shipments for that stop; directs TP to stop adding or removing shipments on this stop.

Note: Shipments can be manually added to or removed from Stops irrespective of Planning/Warehouse Status.
