Transportation Smartbench features

Transportation Smartbench (TSB) provides many features common to the Transportation Manager Web user interface including, but not limited to:

  • Saved search and refresh
  • Ad-hoc search
  • Division/Logistics Group restrictions
  • Monetary visibility restrictions
  • User-level configuration of columns on lists
  • Operations configuration and permissions through Screen Elements
  • Multi-row selection for executing operations (limited)
  • Single and multi-column sort of search results
  • Freeze columns in lists
  • Hyperlink navigation to properties pages for key entities and related objects (limited)

Notable features of the TSB include:

  • Define and arrange searches to align with workflow activities
  • Define dashboard-like Summary views to present key performance indicators (KPIs) and key performance thresholds (KPTs) you care about
  • Display stop/load/booking/trip views from a specific Summary view KPT
  • Execute multiple searches (for example, stop, load, shipment leg, shipment, trip, booking and so on) with a single click
  • Indicate a search or collection of searches to execute automatically when TSB is launched
  • Search and display results across plans
  • Perform Load Building, Load Processing on objects aligned to an authorized plan
  • View the Transportation Smartbench supported entities search results as independent lists on the same page
  • Cascade selected items in a search result to a new list of related objects in a separate view
  • Search, set thresholds and colors for load capacities (utilizations) as a percentage across seven dimensions: weight, volume, pieces, pallets, item utilization, laden length and overall (user-level)
  • Configure the status values to display in different colors (user-level) for supported entity types
  • Configure properties pages (user-level)
  • Update multiple rows in a list with the same data value
  • Drag-and-drop to:
    • assign/move shipment legs to an existing load
    • assign/move loads to an existing booking or trip
    • assign assets to loads, trips, and skeleton routes
    • re-sequence load-stops
  • Expand a load list selection to show stop information or expand a stop list selected to show shipment legs
  • Configure to auto-sum on key columns based on list view selection (user-level)
  • View routing for a stop, load, shipment leg, shipment, trip, booking, and skeleton routes list selection in the same or separate Maps panel
  • View the properties of two objects or two map panels side-by-side
  • Copy the TSB configuration of one user to one or more other users
