Create a booking (Employee)
- Display the list of bookings (Employee).
- Click New. The Create Booking page is displayed.
- (Optional) Enter the required values in the Carrier and Service fields.
Notes:
- If Carrier is provided, then it must be the same as hard committed carrier on loads and carrier on the hard committed primary schedule.
- If Service is provided, then it must be the same as hard committed service on loads and service on the hard committed primary schedule.
- Specify one or more eligible loads in the Loads field. Secondary search functionality allows multiple loads to be selected in a single action from the secondary search for loads page.
- Click Submit/Finish to create a booking and return to the page from which the Create Booking operation is run. Alternatively, click Submit/Manage Booking to create a booking and go to the List of Loads Assigned to a Booking page for the newly created booking.
Note: If you access this page from a list of loads, the Load ID(s) from the selected list are auto-populated as default values.
Note: If booking created for a list of PLANNED status load, then booking will be created with PLANNED status and booking rating will be executed. If rating failed, then rating valid flag will set to FALSE. Otherwise, booking will be created with OPEN status and booking rating will not perform and Load routing/rating/scheduling results are removed (deleted) when the booking is created successfully. Booking rating is available as a separate operation.
