Create a truckload tariff – suggested workflow
The following is a suggested workflow for creating a Truckload tariff. Note that not all required fields are mentioned.
This example does not include set-up requirements for Fuel Surcharges. See Fuel Surcharges – Initial Set-Up for all set-up requirements for Fuel Surcharges.
- Create Range Code for Standard Truckload Tariffs (if necessary). This step is only required prior to creating the first truckload tariff.

- Create Truckload Carrier. This step is only required prior to creating the first tariff for this carrier.
- Create Required Zones. This step is only required if the zones used by this tariff have not yet been established. In this example, the truckload tariff will use zones corresponding to selected cities in the state of Florida, USA.
Example:
Zone ID |
Country Code |
City |
---|---|---|
TAMPA |
USA |
Tampa |
ORLANDO |
