Delivery schedule example

Consider a delivery schedule created for an air freight carrier. Suppose the carrier offered same day service from New York to Los Angeles in the United States every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. In this case, the following delivery schedule elements would be required:

An Itinerary with two points – New York and Los Angeles.

One Timetable with three Timetable Entries, one corresponding to each of the Monday, Wednesday and Friday departures.

Each Timetable Entry would have two Timetable Entry Points, with the first of each pair corresponding to the departure day and time from New York and the second of the pair corresponding to the Arrival Date and Time in Los Angeles.

The New York to Los Angeles Itinerary would reference the Timetable grouping the three Timetable Entries.
