List of Shipment Versions (Employee)
The Shipment Version determines whether certain shipment fields are mandatory, and determines default values for shipment pickup and delivery date and time ranges.
Separate shipment versions can be set up to satisfy different requirements in the shipment entry process. The shipment version used during shipment creation is defaulted based on the customer.
The summarized entry mode flag on the shipment version determines how the shipment weight entered during shipment creation will be treated. If enabled via the check box in the shipment version, any shipment weight entered will be treated as a summary weight of all the containers in the shipment. If not enabled, any shipment weight entered will be treated as the weight of an individual container.
By default, the list of Shipment Versions is sorted in ascending order by Shipment Version Code.

Operations
- Alternate Language Descriptions: Displays the list of the descriptions for the active user locales other than the default language of Transportation Manager. For more information, see Entity Language Descriptions/Names (Employee).
- Delete: Deletes the selected shipment version.
- Duplicate: Creates a copy of the selected shipment version.
- New: Creates a shipment version.
- Properties: Displays the properties of the selected shipment version. See Shipment Version Fields for additional details.
