Filters
Filters allow users to refine the viewable results of a grid.
Filters appear as a single row of grid cells between the grid’s operation set (if any) and above grid column titles. Filtering is supported on text and number data types.
To apply a filter, type a value into a quick filter cell (or if a combo box is provided, select the desired values) and press Enter, or click Filter . The grid view will be refreshed to display rows matching your filter criteria.
Filters (except columns presenting a combo box) support the following special searches:
- Wildcard character (by default "%")
- Exclusion (by default "^")
To remove a filter, perform the following:
- Click the value you wish to remove from a filter cell.
- Click
displayed to the right of the value.
- Click the combo box and deselect the selected options.
- Press Enter or click Filter
.
The grid will be refreshed to display all the rows.
