Shipment Entry Control
- Order Value Mandatory: Indicates whether order value is required when entering shipments. Order value will be defined at shipment item level when item level detail is active else it will be supplied at shipment container level. Order value can be used both as a routing restriction and a rating unit. It typically is used to capture value of goods at selling price.
- Declared Value Mandatory: Indicates whether declared value is required when entering shipments. Declared value will be defined at shipment item level when item level detail is active else it will be supplied at shipment container level. Declared value can be used both as a routing restriction and a rating unit. It typically is used to capture value of goods at cost.
- Units Mandatory: Indicates if units are required for shipment details associated with a shipment type. If selected, these shipment details must have units greater than zero. This is applicable for shipments with Item Summary Level mode.
- Volume Mandatory: Indicates if volume is required for shipment details associated with a shipment type. If selected, these shipment details must have volume greater than zero.
- Default Division and Logistics Group from Shipping Point: This value is not currently active.
- Project ID Mandatory: This value is not currently active.
- Shipment Plan ID Control: Controls if the Shipment Plan ID is updated when one or more of the associated shipment legs Plan ID is changed. The following two options are available to control the Shipment Plan ID:
- Keep Original Value: When the Shipment Leg of a Shipment is assigned to a different Plan, the Plan ID on the Shipment will not be updated with the Shipment Legs Plan ID. By default, this value is selected.
- Reflect Latest Assignment: When a Shipment Leg itself or its assigned Load is assigned to a Plan ID, this latest Plan ID will become the Shipment Plan ID. When a Shipment Leg itself or its assigned Load is removed from a Plan, the surviving Plan ID on other Legs of the same Shipment will become the latest, hence, the Shipment Plan ID. If there are more than one surviving Plans, the Plan on the Leg with the lowest Sequence Number will become the Shipment Plan ID. When all Legs of a Shipment are not associated to a Plan, e.g. Unassigned, or planning has completed, the previous value of the Shipment Plan ID will remain the same.
- Shipment Horizon Update Control: Controls whether shipment window is allowed to be updated via Shipment Properties or API after pickup or delivery dates have been overridden from the Rate Shop page in Smartbench.
