Specific Date Capacities (Employee)

Use this page to simultaneously maintain multiple capacity entries concurrently on a single page. This page allows you to work with multiple Location Throughput Group and Time Range combinations within a Location for a specific date.

Use Select Docks () icon to filter the records based on the selection of docks. When this utility is used, the list will be updated to present only the Location Throughput Groups that have an association with at least one of the selected docks.

You can configure which columns should be displayed on the grid using the Customize Page icon () available on the top of this page.

The List Customization Page will also allow you to designate whether Maximum Quantities and/or Target Quantities are presented for each Location Throughput Group; if both are presented, you can also configure whether the Available Quantities are computed based on Maximum or Target Quantities.

The Location Throughput Groups will be enabled for Daily or Hourly capacity based on the setting for the Capacity Interval for the Location Throughput Group.

A thin red line is displayed at the top of the cell in the editable grid representing the portion of the hour when the location is closed.

Negative values are not permitted.

Notes : The day of week values will be used as defaults when available. Values will not be copied if the dock is not open for business on the applicable date.

The Maximum and/or Target , Actual, and Available rows are displayed for each Location Throughput Group where Level is Dock. The Actual and Available rows will not be displayed for Location Throughput Groups where Level is Location.

The Actual quantity is the total demand for all dock commitments for any of the docks that are associated with the Location Throughput Group and Available is the net of Maximum and Actual.

The hyperlink for the Actual value displays the associated dock commitment details. This link is presented when the quantity is greater than zero.

Since Location Capacity Maintenance can have values from two different rows on the UI that map back to the same database entry:

  • Reset is managed using the Esc key.
  • Save is automatically executed when the Enter key is clicked or when user clicks on a cell from a different row.
  • When Save logic is triggered, validation will be performed to ensure that the Maximum quantity is greater than or equal to corresponding Target quantity. If a violation exists, then an error message will be presented and the contents of the cells will be reset (i.e. the most recent edits will be lost).

The following button is available at the bottom of the page:

  • Return: Navigates to previous page without performing any validation or updates.
