Tender - Contacts (Employee)
This screen can be accessed from the General tab when issuing a tender for a load, or when updating an existing load tender.
When accessing this screen while issuing a tender, if this is the first time any Tender Contacts screen has been accessed for this load, or if any the key values associated with the load have been modified since a Tender Contacts screen was last accessed for this load, defaults will be established prior to presenting the screen. Default logic will be triggered when any of the following load values are modified: Carrier, Service, Tractor Domicile, Trailer Domicile, Tractor Equipment Type, Trailer Equipment Type.
You can use the Refresh icon to manually trigger default logic for both the Sender Contact and Carrier Contact for the tender. When Email notification is enabled, an email will be sent to the designated email addresses.
The Tender Response Required by Date/Time will define when a response to the tender must be provided by the carrier. If Carrier Sequential Tendering (CST) is enabled for this load, the tender will be automatically cancelled by CST if a response has not been received from the carrier by the designated date/time. (Note: Automatic cancellation of expired tenders is controlled by a Global Setting. Typically this control is enabled.)
Tender Distribution flags will be used to control how the tender will be sent to the carrier. These flags default based on the configuration of the applicable tariff/service combination but they can be overridden.
