When Freight Bills Details are input via the Web UI, the setting for the Match to Existing Voucher flag will be established when the Freight Bill Detail is first created.

If a customer was not specified for the Freight Bill:

  • The Match to Existing Voucher flag will be unconditionally set to True.
  • If a customer was specified for the Freight Bill:
  • If the specified customer is not Enabled for Unmatched Auditing, the Match to Existing Voucher flag will be unconditionally set to True.
  • If the specified customer is only Enabled for Unmatched Auditing, the Match to Existing Voucher flag will be unconditionally set to False.
  • If a specified customer is Enabled for Unmatched Auditing as well as Matched Auditing and/or the Transportation Audit process, the Customer / Carrier Freight Audit table will need to be referenced:
    • If an entry does not exist in the Customer / Carrier Freight Audit table for the customer/ carrier pair associated with the Freight Bill, the setting for the Match to Existing Voucher flag will be unconditionally True.
    • If an entry exists in the Customer / Carrier Freight Audit table for the customer / carrier pair associated with the Freight Bill, and setting for the Enabled for Unmatched Auditing flag in this table is Never, the setting for the Match to Existing Voucher flag will be unconditionally True.
    • If an entry exists in the Customer / Carrier Freight Audit table for the customer / carrier pair associated with the Freight Bill and setting for the Enabled for Unmatched Auditing flag in this table is Always, the setting for the Match to Existing Voucher flag will be unconditionally False.
    • If an entry exists in the Customer / Carrier Freight Audit table for the customer / carrier pair associated with the Freight Bill and setting for the Enabled for Unmatched Auditing flag in this table is User Defined, there will be no default value established for the Match to Existing Voucher flag. It this case, a prompt message will be issued to the user prior to presenting the Freight Bill Detail page.
