Select entity view value

You can select one or more values in any entity view column. This feature might be used, for example, to copy values from an entity view and paste it into a search panel or external text editor.

To copy a value from a specific entity view cell:

Right-click any row-level field and select Select Value from the context menu. The value of the selected field is displayed in a text box where you may then copy the value to the windows clipboard and paste it elsewhere.
Click or press the Esc key to close when finished.

To copy multiple values from any column for selected rows:

Select the required rows in an entity view.
Right-click any row-level field and select Select Values from the context menu. The contents of selected row-cells are separated with the comma character (,) and displayed in a text box where you may then copy the value to the windows clipboard and paste it elsewhere.
Click or press the Esc key to close when finished.

Note: This feature is not available when an update is pending for the selected field.
