Customize entity view

Entity views come pre-configured for immediate use. However, you may change the appearance of your entity views to better suit your needs. You can configure entity views by selecting Customize > Customize Layout located on the right-hand side of the title bar on your entity view.

Selecting Customize > Customize Layout displays the Customize Grid Layout dialog box that has several components. Each component is described in the task-oriented topics listed below.

When customization is complete, select one of the following options to save your changes, or Click Cancel to exit the dialog without saving.

Click Save for this Search to preserve configuration modifications for the current grid instance’s associated search item. The saved configuration will apply to all future executions of this search item.

Click Save as Default for <entity type> to preserve configuration modifications for this entity type. This configuration will apply to any search result where Save for this Search has not been performed.

Columns selected for display
Order of columns displayed
Sort Order of data
Number of Frozen fields
Show Selection Totals and Averages
Show Quick Filters
Show as Details
Column Width
