Freeze columns

You may optionally freeze selected columns in entity views and properties page grids. Frozen columns remain in the viewing area when you scroll horizontally across the page, allowing you to keep important data in view at all times. Frozen fields always start at the top-most fields in your Selected list. The maximum number of frozen columns will vary. Entity views permit up to 9 columns while properties page grids are limited to 6.

To use this feature, select a value using the control associated with the Number of Frozen Fields label.

Notes:

The higher number of fields you freeze in the display, the fewer columns you will be able to see if and when you need to scroll horizontally across the view.
You will not be allowed to use this feature if you have enabled Show as Details.
