Customize Dock Schedule Layout

The Dock Schedule view comes pre-configured for immediate use. However, you may change the appearance of your views to better suit your needs. Configure views by selecting Customize > Customize Layout located on the right-hand side of the title bar.

Settings

Options in this section manage the overall timeline and dock-related field presentation:

  • Default View: Changes the number of consecutive calendar days rendered in the timeline.
  • Default Hours Interval: Changes the duration of slots rendered in the timeline view.
  • Default Theme: Alters the visual representation of dock commitment-based timeline items based on system-defined data conditions. See Themes.
  • Dock Type: Filters the Dock Schedule view based on the selected dock types (for example, Inbound, Outbound or Both). If none are selected, no filtering is applied.
  • Dock Status: Filters the Dock Schedule chart based on the selected dock statuses (for example, Active or On Hold). If none are selected, no filtering is applied.
  • Dock Fields: Defines the set of fields to be displayed in the left-hand side of the Dock Schedule view.
  • Compact View: When selected, rows in the timeline will be compressed vertically by about half.
  • Ignore Capacity Constraints: When selected, Location Throughput Capacities will not be checked against Dock Commitments and therefore neither the At Capacity nor Over Capacity indicators will be shown.

Hover Text

Controls the content of the hover text that appears briefly when the cursor is positioned on a dock commitment item in the timeline.

Move fields between Available and Selected lists, same as configuring displayed fields in entity grid views. Elements in the Selected list are those to be displayed in hover text.

Note: Elements representing dock commitment violations are automatically suppressed in hover text display when the violation does not apply.

Operations

  • Reset Layout to System Defaults: Restores fields in this dialog to the system default configuration.
  • Save: Saves the updated configuration.
  • Cancel: Closes the dialog box without saving.
