Generate event in Transportation Smartbench

You can generate an event for loads, stop appointments, shipments, shipment legs, and bookings. You can also generate an event from the Event History pages for loads, shipments and shipment legs.

When generating an event for a load, shipment leg, or booking, you may also supply the current location to indicate placement of the assigned carrier at the time of reporting. Current location may be supplied at one of three geographic levels: Location ID/Type, Country, State/Province and City, or Latitude/Longitude coordinates.

You may also include additional information for the event in the Event Text (optional) field.

When generating an event for a shipment leg, you may also supply an ETA for the destination.

Event Reason Code must always be specified when generating an event. The list of available Reason Codes differs based on the event being generated and the status of the associated entity. This list may also vary based on the user generating the event (the availability of a Reason Code can be restricted by User Group Type).
