INTTRA Booking Lifecycle Receive

The INTTRA Booking Lifecycle Receive job type can be configured to be initiated when a new file from INTTRA is received. Files are received from INTTRA for TM Bookings assigned to carriers configured to use the Blue Yonder-INTTRA integration. The files that INTTRA sends contain information about responses from Carriers. See INTTRA Booking Lifecycle Send for more information about the data sent from Blue Yonder to INTTRA.

This job will process a file and determine whether the file indicates a confirmation from the Carrier (no changes) or a revision from the Carrier (changes). When the INTTRA file indicates a confirmation, the booking will be advanced to the Tender Accepted status if not already at or beyond the status. When the INTTRA file indicates changes, an appropriate booking revision will be created to be handled by the booking revision process. A Tentative status response by the carrier may propose changes, but does not indicate that the Carrier has accepted the booking.

The processing of INTTRA revisions requires mapping from INTTRA UN/LOCODE, equipment type, and other entities to the Blue Yonder TMS entities. See the INTTRA External Mappings section for more information.

When AddTimeTableEntriesByINTTRAReceive (Application Configuration Setting) defined in the Global Settings - List of Application Configuration Settings (Employee)page is enabled, if needed, this job will also create new Itinerary, Timetables, and Timetable Entries for the ocean legs based on the information in the received file. If the Booking's Departure and Arrival locations are same as the first leg's departure and final leg's arrival locations in the file but with different intermediate/transshipment ports, then to avoid conflicts on rating calls the existing timetable entry associated with the Booking will be deactivated.

Note: The INTTRA Booking Lifecycle Receive job type will normally have a scheduling type of ‘On Demand’ where the input file for the job instance is set based upon a Directory Watch job instance.

The following Job Parameter may be specified when defining an INTTRA Booking Lifecycle Receive Job Definition:

  • Parameter 1 – Attach Files to Booking (Optional): True/False – Specifies whether to attach the generated XML file to the booking using the Attachment Server. If not specified, the system considers the value as “false”.
Entity Selection Criteria Usage

This job type does not use ESCs. Any ESCs defined will be ignored.
