Incoterms location fields
- Incoterms ID: Mandatory; A value must exist in the Incoterms table for the combination of Incoterms ID, Incoterms version, and division defined for the Incoterms location. Typically, this refers to one of the industry-standard Incoterms (for example, EXW, FCA, CFR). It is not editable in the update mode.
- Incoterms Version: Mandatory; TM supports the following Incoterms versions: 1990, 2000, 2010, and 2020. It must be defined in the customer profile if Incoterms ID is defined for some or all shipments for a customer. A value must exist in the Incoterms table for the combination of Incoterms ID, Incoterms version, and division defined for the Incoterms location. It is not editable in the update mode.
- Customer ID: Mandatory; Not editable in the update mode.
- Division: Mandatory; A value must exist in the Incoterms table for the combination of Incoterms ID, Incoterms Version, and Division defined for the Incoterms Location. It is not editable in the update mode.
- Buyer/Seller Designation: Optional; It defines whether a shipment is created from the perspective of the buyer (typically a Purchase Order) or the seller (typically a Sales Order). The Buyer/Seller Designation and Incoterms location for a shipment are used to determine which of the shipment legs will have a freight terms of Prepaid and Collect. It is not editable in the update mode.
- Default Incoterms Shipping Location Type: Mandatory; It is editable in the update mode. It will refer to one of the following values:
- Destination Port Location
- Origin Port Location
- Shipment Destination Location
- Shipment Origin Location
- Active: Indicates whether the Incoterms location entry is considered when a value is selected for Default Incoterms Shipping Location Type for a shipment. In is not editable from this page in the update mode, But it can be edited using operations from the List of Incoterms Locations page.
- Origin Shipping Location: Origin shipping location ID and type are optional. But, if either is specified, they must together refer to an entry in the Shipping Location table. It is not editable in the update mode.
- Destination Shipping Location: Destination shipping location ID and type are optional. But, if either is specified, they must together refer to an entry in the Shipping Location table. It is not editable in the update mode.
This value, or the corresponding value in the Incoterms table, is used when establishing a default value for Incoterms shipping location for a shipment.
