List of Optimizer Constraints (Employee)

Each entry in the list contains information about an override file. The override file contains a set of constraints and control attributes to govern the behavior of Transportation Planner. An entry in this list can be optionally referred to when you invoke an optimizer request.

List

By default, the list of optimizer constraints is sorted in ascending order by the Code field.

Properties

The following fields are displayed for each optimizer constraint:

Code: Identifier for the optimizer constraint. This value can include letters, numbers, and special characters.
Description: Describes the optimizer constraint.
Active: Select this check box to enable the optimizer constraint so that it is available for selection when you optimize through Transportation Planner.

Note: Some optimizer constraints may not be available for selection if a plan defines an optimizer constraint group.

Override File: Name and optional directory path of the override file (up to 100 characters).

Operations

Duplicate: Creates a copy of the selected optimizer constraint.
New: Creates a new optimizer constraint.
Delete: Deletes the selected optimizer constraint. The override file referenced in the setting is not deleted.
