Tariff Service Charge fields - Details tab
Note: None of the attributes on this tab are editable when the Charge Based on Carrier flag is True. This limitation is applicable only for tariff charges on Customer (A/R) tariffs.
Supersede
Notes: This section will not be available when either of the following statements is true for the tariff charge being maintained:
- The Apply Charge at Trip/Booking Level flag is selected and the Assign to Booking flag for the applicable tariff/service is selected.
- The Charge Based on Carrier flag is selected. This flag can be selected only for Customer Tariffs.
Supersede Charge ID: Optional. If specified, charges computed for this tariff charge will supersede the charges for the designated Supersede Charge ID when supersede conditions are satisfied (see Supersede Rule). If specified for a condition, it must refer to another condition for the same tariff/service; if specified for an option, it must refer to another option for the same tariff/service. Must refer to a condition (option) for the same tariff/service where Priority Sequence is less than the Priority Sequence of the condition (or option) currently being edited. Not editable when Apply Charge at Trip/Booking Level (conditions only) and the Assign to Booking flag for the corresponding tariff service are True. Not editable for conditions on a referential tariff.
Supersede Rule: Applicable when value specified for Supersede Charge ID. See Supersede rules.
Precede
Notes: This section will not be available when either of the following statements is true for the tariff charge being maintained:
- The Apply Charge at Trip/Booking Level flag is selected. This flag cannot be selected for Customer Tariffs.
- The Charge Based on Carrier flag is selected. This flag can be selected only for Customer Tariffs.
Precede Charge ID: Optional. If specified, rating is performed for the tariff charge only if the previously computed rating amount for the designated charge is within the range defined by the corresponding minimum and maximum. When a value is specified, it will refer to another charge ID for the same tariff service where rating will already have been performed. If the charge being maintained is a condition, the precede charge ID must refer to another condition for the same tariff service where the priority sequence is less than the priority sequence for the tariff charge being maintained. If charge being maintained is an option, then precede charge ID must refer to a tariff charge for the same tariff service where charge is a condition, or where charge is an option and the priority sequence is less than the priority sequence for the tariff charge being maintained.
Minimum Precede Charge Select Amount: If Precede Charge ID is specified, rating will be performed for the tariff charge only if the previously computed rating amount for the designated charge is greater than or equal to this minimum amount. This amount is expressed in the rating currency for the tariff.
Maximum Precede Charge Select Amount: If Precede Charge ID is specified, rating will be performed for the tariff charge only if the previously computed rating amount for the designated charge is less than or equal to this maximum amount. This amount is expressed in the rating currency for the tariff.
Net Effect Calculation
Note: The Net Effect Calculation fields are not editable for conditions on a referential tariff.
- Look-Up Units (multiplied by): Look-Up Units for the tariff charge will be multiplied by the value associated with this Rating Unit.
- Look-Up Units (divided by): Look-Up Units for the tariff charge will be divided by the value associated with this Rating Unit.
- Look-Up Units (addition): Value associated with this Rating Unit will be added to the Look-Up Units for the tariff charge.
- Look-Up Units (subtraction): Value associated with this Rating Unit will be subtracted from the Look-Up Units for the tariff charge.
- Charge Amount (multiplied by): Charge Amount computed by rating will be multiplied by the value associated with this Rating Unit.
- Charge Amount (divided by): Charge Amount computed by rating will be divided by the value associated with this Rating Unit.
- Charge Amount (addition): Value associated with this Rating Unit will be added to the Charge Amount computed by rating.
- Charge Amount (subtraction): Value associated with this Rating Unit will be subtracted from the Charge Amount computed by rating.
See Net Effect Calculation Controls.
Dimensional Equivalent Weight
Note: This section will be enabled only for tariff charges where the Unit Type is "Weight" and the Multi-Freight Class flag is False.
- Factor: Rating will use Dimensional Equivalent Weight if greater than actual Weight and other equivalent weights. Dimensional Equivalent Weight will be computed by multiplying or dividing actual Weight by this factor (see Operation below). Must be zero if Dimensional Equivalent Weight Minimum is zero; cannot be zero if Minimum is not zero.
- Minimum: Minimum Dimensional Equivalent Weight, expressed in weight unit of measure for the tariff. If Equivalent Dimensional Weight is less than the Minimum Dimensional Equivalent Weight, then a dimensional weight is not applicable and rating will not be performed using Dimensional Equivalent Weight.
- Operation: Indicates whether actual Weight will be multiplied or divided by the Factor to compute Dimensional Equivalent Weight.
Oversized Equivalent Weight
Note: This section will be enabled only for tariff charges where the Unit Type is "Weight", the Data Accumulation level for the corresponding master condition/option is Container and the Multi-Freight Class flag is False.
- Weight: The Equivalent Oversize Weight for this tariff charge, expressed in the weight unit of measure for the tariff. Applicable when size [Length + 2(Width + Height)] of package exceeds maximum allowed size. Rating will use Equivalent Oversize Weight if greater than actual Weight and other equivalent weights.
- Minimum: Oversize Equivalent Weight Minimum is not currently used.
Laden Length Equivalent Weight
Note: This section will be enabled only for tariff charges where the Unit Type is "Weight" and the Multi-Freight Class flag is False.
- Factor: The Laden Length will be multiplied by this factor to compute an Equivalent Weight for Laden Length. Rating will use Equivalent Weight for Laden Length if greater than the actual Weight and other equivalent weights.
- Minimum: Will be used instead of the computed Equivalent Weight for Laden Length if the computed value is less than this Minimum. Expressed in the weight unit of measure for the tariff.
