Shipment Summary (Customer/Employee)

This page displays summary information for a shipment such as origin and destination location details, pickup and delivery dates and times, operational status and freight terms, overridden horizons, shipment detail level, consolidation, and shipment split details.

The information on the Shipment Summary (or Shipment Properties) screen is split onto two tabs. Unrestricted users will be able to access the Details tab from the General tab.

The Shipment Summary page is displayed twice during shipment creation: once when the shipment creation process is initiated and again after all details (and optionally items) have been defined.

The Shipment Summary can be accessed for an existing shipment from the following pages:

List of Shipments in the Shipment Processing module
List of Shipments in the Financials module
Shipment History
Shipment Gross Margin
Load Gross Margin
Trip Gross Margin

When accessed from the first three sources, this page will be in view or edit mode depending on shipment status and user authority. The screen will always be in view mode when accessed from a gross margin screen.

Operations

Attachments: See Attachments (All).
Cancel: Cancels the creation of shipment properties.
Itinerary: See Shipment Itinerary (Customer/Employee).
Memo: See Memo (All).
Notes: See List of Notes (All).
Reference Numbers: See Reference Numbers Overview (All).
Shipment Details: See List of Shipment Details (All).
Submit: Completes the creation of shipment properties.
Submit/Continue: Allows you to complete the creation of shipment properties and continue creating another shipment properties.
