Shipping Location fields - Details 2 tab - Hub
Note: All fields on this tab are editable in Update mode.
General Attributes
- Hub Owner: The ID of the carrier that owns the hub. Mandatory.
- Inbound Environment: Controls whether inbound non-live unloading is allowed at this shipping location. Supported values are: "At Any Time", "During Business Hours Only" and "Never".
- Outbound Environment: Controls whether outbound non-live loading is allowed at this shipping location. Supported values are: "At Any Time", "During Business Hours Only" and "Never".
- Assume Trailer Swap: When this field is true, if load becomes empty at an intermediate stop at this location, scheduling will assume that the trailer being delivered is being swapped for a different trailer. In this case, variable loading/unloading (handling) time will not be computed and fixed loading/unloading time will be accounted for twice (once to represent the drop for the first trailer and once to represent the pickup for the second trailer). Assume trailer swap scenarios will not impact equipment availability.
- Allow Full Interleaving: Indicates whether a load can drop all shipments at this location when it is not the final delivery stop for the load. Since a load cannot move between stops without a shipment after the first pick and before the last drop, an additional shipment must be picked at this location in order for this location to not be the last stop.
- Full Service: Indicates whether a multiple-stop load can be constructed originating at this hub.
- Transfer Only: Indicates whether this hub will be used exclusively for transfers. If true, the composition of loads routed through the shipping location cannot change. A transfer hub is a location where full trailers are swapped from one tractor to another.
- Transfer Service: Hub transfer service. Functionality associated with this field is not currently supported.
- Manage Trailer Alerts: Indicates whether trailer alerts can be generated and maintained by proactive monitoring for loads originating at this location.
- Auto-Create Non-Live Dock Commitments: Indicates whether dock commitments will be created during optimization for non-live picks or drops at this location (assuming load is using a tariff service where dock assignment has been enabled). If true, location will also be eligible to have default non-live designation overridden if dock assignment was not possible using default setting.
- Enable Incoterms Location: This location is eligible to be designated as an Incoterms Location when it is used as a mid-point on a shipment’s itinerary.
- WMS Instance ID: Indicates the Warehouse Management instance that is used to manage the freight shipped from the location.
Restrictions
- Allow Drop Off: Indicates whether drop offs at this shipping location must be made by the carrier that owns the location. If True, drop offs can be made by other carriers.
- Allow Pick-up: Controls the carriers that are allowed to pickup freight at the shipping location. If True, pickups can be made by other carriers.
- Allow Deconsolidation: Indicates whether deconsolidation is allowed at this hub.
- Minimum Drop Weight: The minimum drop weight for this hub, expressed in the system weight unit of measure.
- Side Door Unloading Required: Indicates whether the side door of the trailer must be used to unload freight at this shipping location.
- Rear Door Unloading Required: Indicates whether goods unloading at this shipping location must be located near the tail of the trailer.
- Minimum Cross Dock Time: The minimum number of business hours that a shipment must be held at this shipping location to allow for activities such as customs clearance. Scheduling will require the interval between the arrival of the inbound shipment leg and departure of the outbound shipment leg to be at least this many business hours. This interval does not include any loading or unloading times for the inbound or outbound shipment legs, nor does it include and transit time or driver service time.
- Maximum Shipment Hold Time: The maximum number of hours that a shipment can be held at this shipping location. Scheduling may allow an interval between the arrival of the inbound shipment leg and departure of the outbound shipment leg to be up to this many hours, not taking business hours into consideration. This interval does not include any loading or unloading times for the inbound or outbound shipment legs, nor does it include and transit time or driver service time.
- Tender Response Time: The number of hours allotted to carriers to response to tenders for loads or trips originating from this shipping location. If a value is non-zero, it will supersede value defined for carrier.
Pallet Restrictions
- Dedicated Pallet Required: Indicates if dedicated pallet is required for the location.
- Loading Position: Indicates if the left/back/right side loading is required for palletization at the location. The supported values are as follows:
- L: Left side loading
- N: Back side loading
- R: Right side loading
- Tower Layer Palletization: Allows you to specify whether the Tower Stacking or Layer Stacking is allowed during Palletization at the location.
- Repalletization Allowed: Indicates if the location is allowed to perform repalletization.
Order Grouping
- Order Grouping Enabled: When the global setting for order grouping sequence is "Shipping Location", this flag will be used to indicate whether order grouping should be enabled for loads originating at this location. If true, the Shipment Sequence Number for the destination locations for the load will be used to dictate the sequence in which goods will be loaded on the trailer.
- Shipment Sequence Number: When the global setting for order grouping sequence is "Shipping Location" and order grouping is enabled for the origin location for the load, this sequence number will be used to dictate the relative sequence in which goods destined for this location will be loaded on the trailer.
