Tariff overview (Employee)
A tariff contains the details of the contract between you and your customer or carrier.
The main components of a tariff are:
- Tariff header, which contains basic descriptive information, including the tariff’s effective and expiration dates, freight invoice payment mode, attribute, and related entities.
- Services provided in the contract.
- Conditions that define the base costing mechanisms for each service.
- Optionsavailable for each service.
- Lanes covered by the contract, defined using origin and destination combinations.
- Rates that apply to the conditions and options offered for the specified lanes.
- Surcharges and discounts applied to the rates.
